Stick to Your Mat

I hope you all are enjoying this nice weekend.


It feels like a summer day here with temperatures in the 80's!


One of the things I love about yoga is that it can be whatever you need it to be. When you feel energized and ready to take on a challenge, you can move a little faster and build up a sweat. When you are feel worn down and exhausted, you can turn your practice into a slow meditation or a restful restorative vacation.

The practice is ever evolving as you continue your practice.

When I started yoga my practice was much different, where I focused on getting in a work out and feeling good in my body. Not I use my daily yoga to reflect and make sure I have not strayed to far from my ideals and values.


I am curious for those of you who have been practicing a while how your practice has changed and what it has taught you over the years. I know for me, this lack of expectations when I arrive on the mat is one of the most liberating aspects that keeps bringing me back.
